Members Terms

All the following are the terms of being a member of Richmond Park Rouleurs, all points must be adhered to at all times. Failure to adhere to the terms will result in a disciplinary procedure by Richmond Park Rouleurs committee.

  • Obey the Highway Code and ride responsibly at all times.
  • All members are required to volunteer to help the Club host at least one event a year.
  • Always ride in a safe manner, especially within a group and consider constructive feedback offered by other Club members.
  • Always be polite to other road users or pedestrians, even if affronted by rude or dangerous behaviour.
  • A member is an ambassador for the Club and needs to act appropriately.
  • You are responsible for your own conduct and safety, this includes the safety of your own bicycle and other equipment during Club activities, including the Club Run.
  • You should bring appropriate kit to repair a puncture and be able to fix basic issues with your own bicycle on a ride with the Club.
  • You are expected to be responsible for your own wellbeing, if you are unable to continue on a ride or are unintentionally separated from the group during a ride.
  • You will not hold the Club or its members responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage whatsoever to you, your bicycle or other equipment during Club activities.
  • A member can be disciplined for behaviour or actions that are considered to be prejudicial to the interests of the Club.
  • Members must always have correct and up to date membership details.
  • You must not act or speak(verbally or physically) in a way that is deemed to constitute discrimination, harrassment or bullying towards another member. This includes physical or verbal acts in person, actions through social media, email, or any other forms of communication.
