What is your favorite cycling food : I take Nakd bars for on the bike, but I like cake off it (and tonnes of other food too)!

Which is your favorite cycling event/location : Prudential Ride 100 is sensational to ride with so many riders on closed roads – really feel like a pro for the day. Epic journey? Chase the Sun 🙂

How/when did you join the club : Back in the very beginning! Think it was a Rouleurs ride before the Rouleurs were Rouleurs.. 😉

What bike(s) do you ride : Dolan L’Etape, Specialized Sequoia (soon to be a steel Ribble) Commuter/tourer. There’s also a 1996 Specialized Stumpjumper M2 mountain bike stashed at my folks

Give us a brief cycling background : Raced mountain bikes in my late teens, made a trials bike, hopped about a bit, crashed a fair bit more, got back into riding in 2012 when I needed something to supplement Marathon training. The road biking stuck ever since

What is your favorite movie : I really don’t have one…so I’ll say Labyrinth…

Name an inspirational figure(cycling or otherwise) : Martyn Ashton. Got me into mucking about on a bike, and now even though he’s paralysed he’s giving to the sport, and no being beaten with a disability.

Favorite quote(cycling or otherwise) :
“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring” – Desmond Tutu
